How to mix Rastafarianism and Christianity…?
WI4ED Asked: How to mix Rastafarianism and Christianity…?
Ok so i'm a pretty devout christian- I've accepted Jesus as my savior and have been going to church almost every Sunday for as long as I can remember. I love Jesus with all my heart and try to live my life as he would want me to. I also smoke weed almost every day (nowhere in the Bible does it say not to…in fact it says that God put all the plants and herbs on this earth for us to use). Anyways, when I use marijuana I really do feel like I am closer to God and sometimes pray for hours on end. I agree with a lot of the ideas of Rastafarianism (live simple, don't stress, eat healthy ext.) and I know they use the Bible as their scripture. What I'm wondering is if there is a way to combine their beliefs/customs with mine. Thanks!!

Jesus wants an authentic you, not a drug induced hallucination.lol
The bible also tells us that our bodies are the temple for the holy spirit. You honestly thinking smoking weed is okay with God?I don't mean to be unkind, but you are really fooling yourself on this one.
You can't blend Christianity with another belief system. You worship God alone and Him shall you serve.
there is more to Rastafarianism then that.
To tell you the truth, the Bible says those three things over and over, so you don't need to mix it. Christianity already has those things.
It would be best to be careful, because drugs can destroy your mind, and that's what the enemy of mankind would love to do.
I think smoking weed would be okay, God put it on here for us.
He did not create alcohol however, but that seems to be okay? I don't understand..
