I feel like I have to pee all the time and I don’t have a UTI?
mystery girl 16 Asked: I feel like I have to pee all the time and I don’t have a UTI?
So for a few weeks I have had a problem where I felt like I have to pee all the time, there is no pain or anything, just discomfort. Finally my dad convinced me to see the doctor and he said its probably just a UTI and gave me some antibiotics. I took them for the week and they didn't really do anything for me. I ended up going on vacation the next week for about 3 weeks and still have the feeling all the time. I tried drinking cranberry juice and I always drink water and I'm a healthy person. I don't know what's wrong and I don't want to have to go back to the doctors again. Please if you have any idea what's wrong I'd really appreciate it !

well, if you feel like you have to pee all the time, and you actually are peeing when you feel that way, it is excessive urination which is a sign of diabetes… check back with the doctor just to be sure.
The round of antibiotics may not have completely rid you of a UTI.I have hundred of UTIs (had an issue with my kidney when I was a kid) and trust me, sometimes it's a nasty one, it may take several rounds of antibiotics.I recommend you revisit the doctor (even if it sucks) as a UTI left untreated can cause a kidney infection which can lead to kidney failure.
Sorry to ask this, but are you pooping fine? >_> Being constipated can actually press on your bladder and result in feeling like a UTI.
Ask if you can try different meds.. My friend was told she had a UTI but the regular antibiotics didn't work at all. She went for weeks until they finally switched her meds.
Anyways, you should start off by getting tested for a UTI at the doctors… You'll just pee in a cup. >_>
