I Had Today May 5 2012 My SAT Essay About Advertisment And Wrote This Essay, Is It Good?!! Tell Me Honestly!!

Advertisement, by definition is the promotion of different products, businesses, services or even ideas by means of communication and mass media.These Advertisements formally known as"Ads" have significantly invaded our lives and have introduced millions of indispensable "assets" for almost everybody.These "ads" have been controversially interfering in one's happiness and satisfaction, shifting living standards and changing different notions.

Everywhere we go, we run into millions of advertisements casted on the tv, road signs,newspapers, magazines and a lot others. But can these encounterances hold negative impact over us? Several Theories have shown that Advertisement has the ability to bring misery into one's life; for which one would be desperately struggling to keep track with what he sees everyday. He will keep asking for things he see day after another regardless to their usage.As A result, People will never be satisfied for what they have due to the everyday exposure to millions of items or services that might at some point show paradoxical characteristics without even being able to tell.
We can go around buying products that are pretty much alike just because we see their Advertisement. Yet, we still find better ones because several items are being introduced into the market and advertised daily, with only slight changes than they used to be before.
Humans feel hypnotized under the effect of ad's spell, for example when Apple corporation introduced Iphone 4, everyone including Apple fans, Lovers or even people with no interest at all, rushed into the stores to buy it. A Couple of months later, Iphone 4S was advertised, All of those Who Bought Iphone 4 also Hastened to the stores to buy the "4S" regardless of it's absolute resemblance to the "old" one.
Advertisement has the ability to become an addition ; for one can never be satisfied , can never feel that it's enough. Nonetheless products in their Appealing Ideas tend to be formed in the most seductive and tempting picture to attract more and more people. An Inquiry has been made in my school area revealed that 60% of the People purchase products only because of the splendorous look on the display, this means that marketing in it's attempt to show products items ideas or even services, can dive into one's mind , change the needs, the concept of necessity and transforming aims and aspirations.

As a Conclusion, Advertisement has brought human unhappiness and dissatisfaction. How will we be able to overcome the wrong common assumptions of necessity, for healthier lives with basic living requirements. but would that make us happy and satisfied?I don't think so, because humans can never be satisfied , advertisement embodies only one of the human Elusive acts, where no satisfaction can ever be reached by anyone.
