Training Program- Is this too much?

I've just started a weight training program so I can get in shape. My main goals are to get stronger, healthier, and look good (mostly in that order). I run cross country, about 2-3 miles each day, but I want to include this strength training program.
Monday- Upper Body
Wednesday- Lower Body
Thursday- Upper Body
Saturday- Lower Body
Each workout is around 30-40 minutes. Will this be too much for my body? I'm a sixteen year old guy, I've never done a whole lot of lifting before. But I'm in fairly good shape from my swim team. Suggestions?
